June 18th : OILERSSSSSS

For the past couple days, since my final. It's been difficult for me to get out of bed, and try to do things in life. The past 5 days have been purposeless in a way. This meant that I was consuming youtube for most of the day, just mindlessly watching movie recaps. I decided to get a job, in order to have a concrete structure in my life. I have 2 interviews tomorrow and two people said come back tomorrow I'm not sure what they meant by that. I'm confident I can get one of those jobs.

I watched the Oilers game with my Family, it was fun. Oilers were playing well, the first goal was insane. He was point blank and he got it in. The second goal, this guy BOUNCED the puck between the goalies skates. It must feel incredible to be in the Finals of the NHL. Most the players have been waiting their entire life to win the cup. The sheer passion of the our team, brings us together as a community. It's truly remarkable to see how close the community is, I see my all my friends of all colors and races come together. Edmonton is very multicultural, but we all bond over OUR Oilers. I've noticed that everyone says "WE'RE GONNA WIN", not Oilers, meaning its us, the entire community that's also playing through the team. I'm grateful to be apart of OUR Edmonton community.
